He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Steven D. Carpenter, Jr. of Charlestown and Michael F. Carpenter (Lindsay) of Haverhill; his siblings, Diane C. Jones of Malden, Kathryn J. Goddard of Malden, David C. Carpenter of Malden, Ronald Carpenter of Mashpee and James L. Carpenter of Malden; and his grandchildren, Alyxis, Hannah, Madelynn and Charlotte Carpenter.
