He is survived by: his mother Gloria Hammond (Whirley); his stepfather Robert Hammond; his wife Amanda Hutchins; his son Brian D. Hutchins Jr.; his brothers, Joseph Whirley and Shawn; his sister-in-law Julia Hutchins; his stepbrothers, David Hammond and Gary Hammond; his uncles, Fred and Mike; his aunt Barbie; and his grandmother Margie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for his son's future endeavors in education.
