He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilan N. Smart and Minnie N. Smart (Allen); and his siblings, Val, Rosalie and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Smart; his children, Robert G. Smart and Kimberly Marie Griffith; his son-in-law Kevin Griffith; his granddaughters, Ashley Griffith, Skyler Griffith and Makayla Griffith; and his siblings, Holly Smith, Randy Smart and Donna Smart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
