He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Casey Sr. and Joan Comollo Casey; his mother-in-law Helen Phipps; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Burrows, Terry Phipps and Stephen Feint.

He is survived by: his wife Sandie; his stepson Alex Salvatori; his siblings, Maureen Stadelman (Eugene), Paula Cowling (Peter), Jessica Casey (Thomas Gebhardt), Constance McAfee (Ricky), Faith Casey, Erin Potter (Philip), Noelle Feint, Shannon Casey-Martin (Robert), James Casey Jr. (Meg Taylor) and Anthony Casey; and his brother-in-law Gary Phipps. He is also survived by his twenty-four nieces and nephews; their spouses; and 26 grandnieces and grandnephews.
