She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hobson and Signe Hobson (Anderson); her son James M. Fish; her husband James H. Fish; her son-in-law Douglas Lamoureux; her sister Barbara; and her brother-in-law Paul Vincent.

She is survived by: her stepfather Edwin Landers; her daughters, Tamela Diehl (Richard), Jodi Lamoureux and Valerie DiVoll (Arthur); her grandchildren, Jolene Lamoureux and James Lamoureux (Kaitlyn); and her great grandchild James Lamoureux, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, at Ruth's request, donations may be made to the NH Troopers Foundation, 107 North State Street, Concord, NH 03301. Donations go toward scholarships and assisting families in need.
