He was predeceased by: his grandmother Elise Kuehnemund; his mother Elfreda Askey; and his brother Darrell Askey. He is survived by: his wife Alice Askey; his children, James Askey (Jackie Thetsy) and Elise Askey (Greg Robillard); and his grandchildren, Nathan and Jane Robillard.
