He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Isadore Rubin and Sophia Rubin (Hooz); his wife Lucille Picemo; his daughters, Geraldine Rubin (John Melvin, Sr.) and Sharon Schmidt (John); his grandchildren, Ryan Schmidt, Emily, Jack, Charlie Zwierzchowski, Katie and John Melvin, Jr.; and his brother Gerald Rubin (Sue). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
