It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Althea Monty of Keene, New Hampshire, born in Marlow, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Mosher (Strickland) and Clarence Mosher; her husband John J. Monty; and her sister Marguerite (Robert Rhoades). She is survived by: her children, Candace Elliott (James) of Stoddard, Kevin Monty (Kim) of Stoddard, Jill Wharton (Robert) of Richmond and Mary Elliott of Keene; and her grandchildren, Gary Weaver Jr., Jami Elliott, Nathan Elliott, Selena Wilder, Tabitha Kilchewski, Cassie Michaud, Morgan Monty, Robert Wharton IV, Brandon Wharton, Nicole Derosia and David Elliott III. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren: 10 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and friends.
