He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wendel and Virginia Wendel; and his daughter Lauri Wendel. He is survived by: his wife Karen Wendel; his daughter Kristen Wendel; his siblings, Scott Ellis (Linda) and Marsha Arseneau; his grandchildren, Ryley Crisp and Braden Crisp; and his pet Seirra Rose.
