It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth John Swymer Sr. of Keene, New Hampshire, born in Winchester, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Swymer. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Swymer (Marr); his wife Noreen Swymer (Brooks) of Keene; his children, Jennifer Serafin (Thomas Serafin) of Pembroke, Kenneth Swymer Jr. (Kylie Swymer) of Keene and Faith Foote (Colin Foote) of Olympia, WA; his grandchildren, Emma, Ryan, Christian, Alexis, Clara, Tucker and Maris; and his siblings, Catherine Fraser of Tuftonboro, Cynthia Tufts of Center Tuftonboro, Ernest Swymer of North Conway, Susan Myette of Wrentham, Mass. and Ruth Harbilas of Windham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Ken's memory to St. Joseph Regional Catholic School, 92 Wilson Street, Keene, NH 03431.

He was a patient teacher who had a gift for explaining complicated ideas. He lived his life according to his Christian faith, and I am a better person for having known him. You and your family are in thoughts and prayers as you grieve the loss of Ken, your husband, father, grandfather and my teacher and friend. Cathy Gates”
