He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys I. (Castor) and Andrew Jackson Houghton, Jr.; and his siblings, Jerome C. Houghton, Frank C. Houghton, Andrew J. Houghton, III and Corrine T. Washburn.

He is survived by: his sister Heather G. Sundstrom of Keene. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
