She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Riley and Almina Riley (Hunt); her husband Frank Mitchell; her son Christopher Packard; and her brothers, Gordon and James Riley.

She is survived by: her nephew Gary (Robin Riley); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shaylyn, Keegan and Emmalayne; her nephew Alan (Heather Riley); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Erin, Eammon, Felicia, Marcus and Jacob.
