He was predeceased by: his parents, John N. Clark and Bernice Clark (Keough); his wife Elaine Clark (Murray); his grandson Justin Clark; and his brothers, Ralph Clark, Francis Clark and Russell Clark.

He is survived by: his children, Howard R. Clark, Jr. (Ann) of Peterborough, NH, Linda C. Potter (Michael) of Harrisville, Scott D. Clark of Harrisville, Heidi C. Reeves (Rob) of Hailey, Idaho, James, Annie Lee, Timothy and JoJo of Marlborough, NH; his grandchildren, Amy Kavalauskas (Jim), Howard R. Clark, III (Maya), Clark Potter, Amanda Potter, Ashley Clark, Cole Reeves and Claribele Reeves; his great grandchildren, Cameryn Madden and Peter Kavalalauskas; his siblings, George Clark (Martha) of Harrisville and Jean Washer of Marlow, NH; and his close friend Jane Keough of Leominster, MA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
