He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Stearns (Houghton) and Keith Stearns; and his sister Gail Peay. He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Stearns of Keene; his children, Teri Roy (Gary) of Swanzey, Jay Stearns (Cindy) of Georgetown, TX. and Julie Cimonetti of Essex Junction, VT.; his siblings, Carol Brock (Fred) of Orange, CA. and Bruce "Chip" Stearns (Lynn) of North Springfield, VT.; his grandchildren, Jessica Madden, Sara Madden, Garret Stearns, Andrew Cimonetti and Shawn Cimonetti; and his pet Penny. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
