George W. Scott Jr. Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George W. Scott Jr. (Keene, New Hampshire), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away, on March 27, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Sherman Culp and George Watson Scott; and his former wife Catherine Shriver Scott (Kay). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Guyer; his former wife Kay Scott; his children, Karen Trosset (Scott Trosset), Suzanne Scott (Keith Wilberg), David Scott (Julianna Baggott), Timothy Scott and Robin Cusack of Portland, OR; his stepchildren, Jocelyn Guyer, Josh Seidman of Bethesda, MD, Margaret Guyer and Constantine Bialik of Framingham, MA.; his brother Robert Scott (Dorey Scott); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Allison Trosset, Phoebe, Finneas, Theo, Othilia Scott, Leo, Ben, Maggie, Julia Seidman, Maya and Liza Bialik.
Although COVID-19 may prevent us from gathering in-person for now to remember George, it cannot stop each of us from honoring him in our own way.
Here are a few suggestions that George would love: memorize a Robert Frost poem, practice a yoga headstand (George was an expert), play some music, make someone laugh, take time to acknowledge another human being by having a light-hearted conversation, or make a donation to the Keene Family YMCA.
