With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George W. Junkala (Keene, New Hampshire), born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 25, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Waino Junkala and Gertrude Junkala (Leppala); his former wife Frances Junkala; his son Robin Junkala; his grandson Scott Siren; and his brothers, Waino "Butch" Junkala and Jack "John" Junkala.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Daughney; his former wife Caroline Junkala (Bragdon) of Keene; his daughters, Linda Rizzuto of Lyndeborough, NH, Debra Vasquez of Stockton, CA and Laura Tharpe (Steve) of Keene, NH; his grandson Brian Beauvais of Keene, NH; and his siblings, Anita LeClair of Weatherford, TX, Walter Stacevich of Manchester, NH and Mary Ann Mathieu of Leominster, MA. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
