He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Sloat. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Sloat and Alice Sloat (Cullen); his daughters, Stephanie Donnaruma (Jay) of Delmar, N. Y. and Jill Antonucci; his grandchildren, Sara Howard (Matthew), Robert Antonucci (Amanda), Colin Donnaruma (Cassandra) and Katharine Antonucci-Austin; his great grandchildren, Harper, Bennett, Calvin, Douglas, Lillie, Madison and Leanah-Mae; his sister Alice Hickcox; his wife Sara Fetridge; and his brother Joseph Sloat.
