He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert E. Lagerberg and Josephine A. Lagerberg (Papineau); his wife Margaret Blanchard; his grandchildren, Sara Clay and Michael McAvoy; and his brothers, Gary Lagerberg and Richard Lagerberg.

He is survived by: his children, Peg Clay (Bob) of Spofford, NH and Frederick Lagerberg of Keene, NH; his grandchildren, Mindy McAvoy (Ryan), Derrick Lagerberg, Melissa Lagerberg, Jamie Lagerberg, Matthew McAvoy (Karli) and Brendan McAvoy; and his sisters, Sandra, Nancy and Carol. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
