We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2020, at the age of 94, Dorothy M. Leighton (Keene, New Hampshire), born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gladys (Merrill) and Joseph H. Shillady Sr.; her son Brian R. Leighton (Maria Dolores) of Keene; her grandchildren, April Leighton of Keene, Leona Leighton of Dorchester, MA, Mary Leighton of Leominster, MA, Briana Leighton of Keene and John Leighton of Keene; her sister-in-law Carla Shillady of Sarasota, FL; her husband Richard F. Leighton; her son Gary B. Leighton of Portsmouth; her sister Shirley; her brother-in-law Calvin Wyman of Portsmouth; her brother Joseph Shillady Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Roger Leighton Sr. of Alton, NH, Ralph Leighton of Florida and Dorothy Leighton Alden of Alton, NH; and her stepsisters, Joyce Clark Adams and Gladys Clark Whiting. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
