He was predeceased by: his brother Briton. He is survived by: his parents, Briton John Potter and Agnes Brierley Potter; his spouse Martha Dodds; his children, Nancy Thompson (Rod) of Keene, Susan McGowan (Tom) of Litchfield, Stephen Potter (Charlotte) of West Chester and Bruce Potter (Donna) of Spofford; his grandson Colin McGowan (Jessica) of Montclair; and his sister-in-law Betsy Lane of Keene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
