She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo R. Short and Emma A. Short; her husband James A. Patterson; her grandson Timothy Alexander; her son-in-law Norman Gauvin; and her siblings, Mary Davis, Leo Short, Robert Short, Kenneth Short and Joe Short.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Gauvin of Somersworth, NH, Phyllis Lane (Howard) of Swanzey, NH, Bobby Alexander (Phyllis) of Swanzey, NH, Nancy Grover (Steve) of Swanzey, NH, Rosemary Credeur (Gerald) of Rayne Louisiana, Cindy Latiolais (Bobby) of Spofford, NH and Tammy Whorfe (Frank) of Keene. She is also survived by her 24 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Maplewood Nursing Home Activity Fund, 201 River Road, Westmoreland NH 03467.
