He was predeceased by : his mother Ruth Ellen Murphy; and his grandparents, Amanual J. Overton and Charlotte A. Overton. He is survived by : his daughter Maddison Ruth Murphy; his sisters, Kathan Murphy and Loren Murphy; his sister-in-law Kay Martin (Ashley Lauren); his cousins, Ken Overton (Karen Overton), Elizabeth Fulton (Joe David Fulton) and Kathan Horne (David Horne); his children, Dyllon Horne and Oceana Elia-Hintsa (Meseret); his grandchildren, Layla and Robel; and also, Greg Overton, Chris Overton and Andy Overton. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
