He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Carl Willey II and Janet E. Willey (Bailey); and his brothers, John Lyon and Robert Willey. He is survived by: his significant other Tia Flanders of Jefferson; his son Ray Carl Willey IV (Sam) of Maine; his granddaughters, Brailey and River; and his siblings, Jane Schmucker of Fort Collins, CO, Melanie Whitney of Lancaster, Lisa Wheeler of Florida, Douglas Lyon of Dalton and W. Joe Willey of Dalton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews.
