He was also cherished by 3 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

“Growing up in Lancaster I had the fortunate pleasure of meeting and sharing time with Neal and Shirley, this was in part because of my friendship with Neal Jr and Joanne. Neal and Shirley welcomed me into their home and lives during my high school years and I will forever cherish those memories and their friendship. Shirley introduce me to Yahtzee and in doing so we shared many laughs while at the kitchen table. It’s heartbreaking to now realize they are both gone. They were a wonderful couple.”
