Vera Pomponio Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Pomponio (Jaffrey, New Hampshire), born in Peterborough, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 26, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Mark Stratton; her husband Albert J. "Chink" Pomponio; and her siblings, Elinor "Poppy", Albert, Fred and Clarence.

She is survived by: her parent Elvira Stratton (Smith); her children, Nina (Robert Phelps) of Hudson, NH and Jay Pomponio (Larry Earle) of Brattleboro, VT; her sister Betty (Edward Affolter) of Troy, Ohio; her friend Elsie Elliot; her children, Mike, Patrick and Nikki; her grandchild Vera; and also Tina O'Neil. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins and close friends.

Burial will take place in the Spring next to her husband in Saint Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made in Vera's name to the Jaffrey-Rindge Memorial Ambulance, PO Box 107, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
