He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Boutwell and Levida Boutwell (Pelletier); and his sister Joanne Saville (Boutwell). He is survived by: his wife Jean DeGrandpre; his children, Jodie Wamboldt (Boutwell) of Florida, Maureen Boutwell of Jaffrey, Brian Boutwell of Jaffrey, Nancy Collins (Boutwell) of Jaffrey and Pop Pop'; his grandchildren, Nona, Keanu LaGrenade, Emily, Justin Wamboldt, Madison Gleason, Brianna, Corey, Abbigail and Delainey Collins; his great grandchild Devin Krystal Monahan; and his brother Richard Boutwell of Jaffrey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
