He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gunnar Olson and Emily Olson (Hall); his wife Katherine "Katie" Allord; his children, Richard H. Olson, Jr. (Lisa) of Manchester, Robert E. Olson of Peterborough, Kelly A. Bergeron (Andy) of Jaffrey and Jonathan A. Olson of Ashby, MA; and his brothers, Donald Olson of Hudson, MA, Jonathan D. Olson of Arlington, VA, Theodore G. Olson and Robert A. Olson. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a niece, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or The Park Theatre.
