She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Kangas (Somero) and Toivo Kangas; and her husband Douglas Closson. She is survived by: her siblings, Randolph Kangas (Karen), David Kangas (Hannah) of Germantown, MD and Patricia Ktistes (John) of Rockport, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and caregivers.
