With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gwendolyn Niskala of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gwendolyn left this world on December 7, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Antilla and Marion Antilla (Cook); her husband Waino; her siblings, Andrew, Ruth Johnson (John), Shirl Niskala (Veiko) and Barbara Lehtonen (Albert); her son Bruce Niskala; and her grandsons, Bruce Jr. and Andrew.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Niskala, Gary Niskala (Yvonne) and Cindy Knight (Paul); her daughter-in-law Pati Niskala (Bruce); her stepsister Gloria Archambault; and her grandchildren, Ellen, Alison, Elisabeth, Elijah, Kaitlyn, Garrett and Lindsey. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the United Church of Jaffrey (54 Main St, Jaffrey, NH 03452). A reception was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mildred Cutter Memorial Hall at the Church.
