She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vernon James Bean and Evelyn Evans Bean; her husband Robert Edward Bennett of Rocky Mount; her brother William Evans Bean; her sons, Christopher Benjamin Bennett of Jaffrey and Jeffrey Bean Bennett of Portsmouth; her stepson Robert Yelverton Bennett of Richmond; her sister-in-law Helen Rayner Bean of Winston-Salem; her sister Laura Bean Redmond (Michael) of Peterborough; and her close friend Jazz. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins.
