He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas J. Hoyt; and his brother Alan Hoyt. He is survived by: his wife Kate Hoyt (McHale); his sister Donna Gregory (David) of Litchfield, NH; his stepchildren, Brian Dyment (Lisa) of Pittsboro, NC and Patti Rourke (Chris) of Pittsboro, NC; his brother-in-law Russell McHale of Bear Creek, NC.; his niece Jessica Hoyt; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Cory Rourke, Brooke and Evan Dyment. He is also survived by many loving cousins and countless friends.
