She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Handley and Margaret L Handley (Kirwin); her significant other David J. Connor, MD; her children, James and Karen Stys; and her grandson Stephen David Strong.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jacob Stys, Taylor Connor, Ryan Connor and Marissa Stys; her siblings, James L. Handley of Sarasota, Margaret Feeney (John) and Judith Handley of Framingham; and her nieces and nephews, Maris Handley, Mary Kate Feeney, Courtney Southgate, James L. Handley and John J. Feeney.
