Joseph DiPietro Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph DiPietro (Hudson, New Hampshire), born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marguerite DiPietro (Kennedy); his parents, Marie Rotondo and Carmine DiPietro; his sister Claire Pratti; and his son-in-law James Hamilton.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph (Janice DiPietro), Mark (Karen DiPietro), Elaine (Edward Murphy), Maria Hamilton of Tewksbury, MA, John (Elfleda DiPietro), Lorraine Kerrigan (Paul Woodworth) of Salem, NH and Jeanne (Greg Harrington); his godson Robert O'Leary (Diane) of Charlestown, MA.; and his brother Carl DiPietro. He is also survived by His wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In view of the current pandemic, a private service will be held on Wednesday, January 12th with an outside and more inclusive Celebration of Life to be scheduled for the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may kindly be directed to two of Joseph's favorite charities; Little Sisters of the Poor, Acireale, Italy, where his niece Sister Joseph serves.
