She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Richard J. and Mary A. Smart (Hurley); her siblings, William J. Smart and Carrie Y. Jolicoeur; and her nephews, Greggory Smart and Dana Smart.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Berry (John), Donna Kilmartin (Bob), Dennis Payne and Richard Payne; her stepson Paul G. McAveeney; and her brothers, Scott P. Smart, James R. Smart (Debbie) and Jeffrey A. Smart (Michelle). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
