He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. McDonald Sr. and Henrietta Mundell; his former wife Marjorie McDonald (Lasselle); his daughter Deborah LaPointe; his stepmother Emmel McDonald; his sisters, Christina Pederson, Ruth Kazakis and Susan McDonald; his stepgrandson Andrew; and his friend William.
He is survived by: his wife Joan McDonald (Rinker); his brother Jack McDonald (Patricia) of Tennessee; his children, Scott McDonald (Cheryl), Pamela McDonald, Linda McDonald (Bruce) and Sandra McDonald (Daniel); his son-in-law Jack LaPointe; his stepchildren, Karen Heselton (Rich), Kirk Rinker (Michelle) and Kyle Rinker (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Adrienne McDonald, Andrew McDonald, Allison Chaffee, Amy Perry-Rowe, Lisa Perry, Christopher Perry, Derek Young and Michael Young; his stepgrandchildren, Malory, Kimberly, Kristyn, Alexis, Kandace Rinker, Nicholas, Benjamin Heselton and Blake Rinker; and his friends, Betty Trombly, Don Morin (late Lorraine Morin), Polly and Reggie. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to animal causes.
