He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen; his brother Vincent Steffan; and his father Robert Steffan. He is survived by: his children, Nora Gathje (Andy) of Stewartville, MN, Gretchen Crudele (Shane) of Hilton, NY and Mark Steffan (Jessica) of Hooksett, NH.; his grandchildren, Andrew, Bennett Henry Gathje (Megan), Jack, Claire (Ted), Lucy and Emma Crudele; and his sisters, Barbara Gallagher (Herb), Susan Mathias (Kurt) and Lisa Barnett (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in his remembrance you make a blood donation in his name as he has done for over 50 years.
