Smith and Barbara Smith (Richards); his wife Carol Smith (Newell); his daughter Linda; his son-in-law Gary Szelog; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Smith; his daughter Melissa Raskiewicz; his grandchildren, Amelia Szelog, Jeffrey Smith (Alexis Mugica), Gary Szelog (Morgan), Maeghan Smith, Zachary Szelog, Rebecca Raskiewicz and Joseph Smith; his sisters, Sandra Buchanan and Dorothy Pouliot (Ernest); and his aunt Eleanor Flanders. He was also cherished by nieces and great nieces.
