He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Stackpole and Caroline Stackpole (Ward); and his siblings, Howard, Jr., James, Robert, Joseph, Patricia Stackpole and Laura Mitchell (Stackpole).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Debra (Bruce), Carol (Eugene), John (Elizabeth) and Beth (John); his granddaughters, Margaret (Trevor), Kiley (Joseph) and Cassidy; and his great grandchildren, Juliet, Christopher and Allison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
