He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Merrill and Gladys [Whittemore] Merrill Sr.; and his siblings, James H Merrill Jr. and Betty Havlock. He is survived by: his wife Gloria [McCormack] Merrill; his sons, Glenn of Plymouth and Tim (Sue) of New Hampton; his granddaughters, Tasha, Kacey and Sarah; and his siblings, Edward, Allen, John and Eleanor "Sis". He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
