He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Mitchell and Blanche Mitchell (Locke); his spouse Beatrice Butler of Hinsdale; his children, Judy Carriere (Bruce) of Hinsdale, Jerry Mitchell (Ellen) of Rochelle Park, N. J. and James Mitchell (Kim) of Hinsdale; and his siblings, Donald Mitchell and Helen Patterson. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
