He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sr. Meattey and Tyyne Meattey (Jarvis); his wife Madeleine; his children, Jeffrey Meattey, Cherie Volante and Donna Boyd; and his siblings, David Meattey and Edith Prentiss.
He is survived by: his son Darryl Meattey (Lois) of Fitzwilliam; his sister Marjorie Caouette of Winchendon, MA; and his grandchildren, Dominic Meattey of Sullivan, Daniel Meattey of Fitzwilliam, Caritia Krakow (Volante) of Colorado, Caley Volante of New Mexico, Caryzma Volate of Keene, Eryn Marshall (Boyd) of West Chesterfield and Heather Hays (Boyd) of Machias. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
