He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Kayleigh Mendonca; and his sister Diane Sansone. He is survived by: his significant other Kim Mendonca; his stepson Ryan Mendonca of Virginia; his sister Donna DiStefano of Connecticut; his grandchildren, Amerie, Aevah Wilsey, Myleigh and Camryn Mendonca; his nephews, Daryl DiStefano (Nihayah) and Christopher DiStefano (Shontel); and his great-nieces, Ka'Maiyah and Dari'yana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
