He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scott Aldrich and Nila Margaret Aldrich (Smith); his wife Henrietta "Honey" Helen Aldrich; and his sister Margaret Campbell. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Marie Bessette (Ronald Bessette), Carrie Ann Baron and Gregory James Aldrich (Shari Aldrich); his grandson Bryan Bessette (Hannah Bessette); his great grandchildren, Peter Baron and Penny Young (Joshua Young); and also, Pamela Adams (John Adams), Jennifer Anti (Thomas Anti), Nicholas Bessette (Jennifer Bessette), Ginger Montminy (Kevin Montminy), Daniel Baron and Tiffany Lasnier (Jonathan Lasnier).
