It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Rau of Haverhill, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Rau to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rau and Dorothy Rau (Morris); and his siblings, William Hitchmoth and Carol Schultz. He is survived by: his sons, John J. Rau of Derry, NH, Christopher M. Rau (Suzanne) of West Newbury and James M. Rau (Tracy) of Salem, NH; his former wife Christine Rau (Cosio) of Newburyport; his sisters, Dorothy Bonanno (William) of Methuen, Linda Kurek of Methuen, Nancy Heenan (Rick) of Gorham, ME and Marylou Richardson (Jim) of South Carolina; his sister-in-law Camille Hitchmoth; and his grandchildren, Jack Rau, Hunter Rau, Haydin Rau, Kylie Rau and Meagan Rau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
