She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter S. Florek and Dorothy M. Kline. She is survived by: her former husband David Smith of Bear, DE; her husband Michael Nix of Groton, VT; her son Stephen Smith (Emily); her stepsons, Kevin Nix (Laura Ferreri) and Corey Nix; her siblings, Dorothy Miller (John), Peter Florek (Ann) and Rob Florek (Noelle); and also Penny Boeckelman of Hanover, NH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
