She was predeceased by: her parents, John Boutwell and Marcia Boutwell; her sons, Arol R. Pockett III and Donald Pockett; her husband Arol Jr.; and her brother Raymond Boutwell (Joyce Boutwell).
She is survived by: her granddaughter Donna; her daughter Donna Royce; her son-in-law Russell Slocum; and her cousin Marge Newell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Carolyn's family is requesting donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
