He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton N. Godfrey and Annie M. Godfrey (Bacon); his wife Gladys A. Godfrey; and his siblings, Josephine, Bernard, Frank, Mary and Helen.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy (Marjorie) of Lebanon, NH, Randy (Christine) of Hudson, NH and Todd of Meriden, NH.; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jenna, Adam, Emily and Grace; his great grandchild Wyatt; his sisters, Ruth Jenks of Lyme, NH and Barbara Smith of Hanover, NH; and his niece Ann Hess. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
