He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Gertrude; his wife Peg; and his brothers, Richard, Dean and John.

He is survived by: his son Andrew; his daughter-in-law Lauren Louis of Chapel Hill, NC; his children, Matthew Louis of Portsmouth, NH and Heidi; his son-in-law Chris Casimiro of Cumberland, RI.; and his grandchildren, Brooke, Julia, Jackson and Lorelai.

He was also involved in Hometown Friends, which coordinated community donations to assist community members facing various hardships.
