He was predeceased by: his parents, John Comeford and Mildred Jean Comeford (Lindsay); his wife Barbara Ella Comeford (Monaghan); his daughter Judy Ellen Ferguson; his grandchildren, Kerry Jean Mathus-Nagle and Todd Lindsay Mathus; his son-in-law Charles P. Mathus Jr.; and his siblings, Mildred Jean Goudey, John Comeford and Edward Comeford.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha Jean Mathus, Robert L. Comeford Jr., Jon Andrew Comeford and Eric Frank Comeford; his daughter-in-law Annie Comeford; and his grandchildren, Lisa Ulwick, Travis Comeford, Ethan Comeford, Jeremiah Comeford, Joey Grattan and Ashley Comeford.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park (185 Lake St, Peabody, MA 01960).
