With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joseph R. Grassi of Hampton, New Hampshire, whose life came to an end on January 30, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. As Joseph departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joseph. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Grassi and Florence Grassi (Trussell); his wife Constance Grassi (Norton); and his brother Peter Grassi, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Christine Smolag (Peter) of Hampton, NH, Joseph Grassi, Jr. (Cheryl) and Keith Grassi (Kelly) of Manchester, NH; and his siblings, Carolyn Harris and Michael Grassi. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home (233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the Pine Grove Cemetery (329 Main St, Salem, NH 03079).
